Launched in the fall of 2000, ActiveMusician is a leading on-line retailer offering over 80,000 products of interest to all musicians. Featuring equipment and accessories from many of the best-known brands in the categories of guitar, bass, drums, recording and studio equipment, keyboards, folk, band and orchestral instruments, dj, theater, and live sound, it serves a wide musician demographic. Complementing this is an extensive selection of sheet music, transcription books, instructional and performance videos & DVDs, and interactive CD-ROMs for all instruments to guide musicians through all stages of their development.
ActiveMusician was developed by eTonal Media, Inc. to support the free on-line musician communities at WholeNote (guitar) and ActiveBass (bass), resulting in tens of thousands of satisfied on-line customers since ActiveMusician's launch (as well as the continuing education of hundreds of thousands of stringheads at WholeNote and ActiveBass). eTonal Media, Inc. is based in New York City, and uses a combination of its own storage facilities in Northern New Jersey and tactical arrangements with wholesalers and manufacturers to ship your orders to you as quickly as possible.
