Mariachi Philharmonic:Cello/Bass Book

Experience the vibrant and exciting music of the mariachi tradition with your string players! Lifetime mariachi performer and educator John Nieto joins Bob Phillips to provide authentic orchestral settings of familiar, traditional tunes for string orchestra alone, mariachi band alone or string orchestra and mariachi band together. Trumpet and Rhythm books are available to provide optional parts for trumpet, guitar, guitarron, vihuela, piano and harp. Historical background and ideas for arrangements are provided in the Teacher's Manual. Each string book contains the melody and the melodic harmony, with accompaniment or bass part as appropriate. All the text within the Student and Teacher's books is in both Spanish and English.
