A ricercare is defined as an elaborate contrapuntal instrumental composition in a fugal or canonic style. This particular selection for four trumpets fits that description exactly. The musical lines flow from part to part in this haunting slow work. This is a great piece to develop intonation, cohesiveness, and ensemble playing. This would also make a great warmup for a trumpet ensemble.

"Thanks so much! Wow, I'm really impressed with your service. I have ordered the Techniques book for my son and am hoping he'll be inspired. Thanks so much again for your prompt response and service. I'll be coming back for more and recommending you to others."

"My husband and I are really impressed with your customer service. It's a rarity to experience the type of attention that you have paid to this matter. The school where our two kids attend, has violin as a part of their third grade curriculum. After the customer service you have shown we both would feel comfortable endorsing your company to other parents at the school who will be needing violins and other instruments for their children."
