The Fat Strat® adds a humbucking pickup to the standard Strat® configuration, for extra-meaty tone. With vintage styling and great Fender® sound, all Affinity guitars feature comfortable, 21-fret Maple necks with fast-action fingerboards and die-cast tuners. The Affinity Fat Strat® has a slightly slimmer body crafted from solid Alder. The Fat Strat® has two single-coil pickups, but features a humbucking pickup in the bridge position for that extra punch. It also sports a standard tremolo and 5-way switching for those great in-between tones.
