ONE STACK CONTROLS:Micro Spider FAQ
- Who should buy a Micro Spider?
Anyone and everyone looking for killer on-the-go tones and the perfect amp for jamming at home. Use Micro Spider after your first lesson or winding down on the tour bus after the show. Use it while camping, at the beach or the lake, visiting friends, going to the park with the kids, watching your big screen TV jamming during commercials, backstage before the gig, backpacking across Europe and, last but not least, in front of your digital recorder capturing legendary Line 6 tone. - How long is the battery life?
Using alkaline batteries you can play nonstop for about 20 hours. - Can I plug in Micro Spider if I don't want to use the batteries?
Yup. Use the included power supply if you're looking to preserve battery life. - How loud does Micro Spider get?
Loud enough to amaze those around you with your incredible riffage. - What does the acoustic model sound like?
It all started with a good clean sound. We molded it with some specific frequencies that bring out acoustic guitar characteristics, achieving the sound you need to give your campsite a good rockin'. - What's the mic trim knob do?
It adjusts the gain of the mic input so you don't get distortion when you're singing-unless you want it. - Can I plug a guitar or bass into the mic input?
Yes, but you will get only a clean sound. - Is Micro Spider really light and portable? How much does it weigh?
It's super-light, just 7 lbs., so you can take it anywhere. - The strap that comes with Micro Spider is cool, but can I use a guitar strap instead?
Yes. The strap is super-cool and perfect but if you want to sling Micro Spider over your shoulder, and rock and roller skate all over the beach, you can connect any guitar strap to it. - How many tone settings can I store?
You can store five tones: one for each of the models. - How do I restore the factory settings?
Just hold down Clean while turning on your Micro Spider and the factory settings will reset. - I heard you can take Micro Spider anywhere. Is Micro Spider waterproof?
Good question. No, it is not waterproof. (Unless you buy the Micro Spider waterproof poncho from the freezer section of your local grocery store-a few gallon-size zip-lock bags should do the trick! Or not...) - How can I record with my Micro Spider?
The best way to record with Micro Spider is to connect the POD® 2.0-style direct out/headphone connector to your mixer or I/O box. The speaker will mute automatically and you'll have killer Line 6 tone going direct to your recording application.
