The only reason I bought this amp is for the price and maybe for something uncomfortable to sit on... if it was stolen I would definately save up for a better rig. If you're looking for something cheap then this is the amp for you, but if you're looking for serious sound quality then steer clear.
Features: Two inputs, Treble and Bass control, Mid, Low and High. Pretty Standard. 1 Channel. Useless for serious gigs and for playing any kind of Rock, Pop, Alternative styles of music. The B20 is great for beginners who need an amp to practice and play alone due to its simplicity and its price. Solid state electronics. Hey! what do you expect from a 20 watt amp?
Sound: This amp was well designed to handle effects and/or distortion running through it without too much sacrifice of sound quality. I play speed/thrash metal and this amp is only good for small jam sessions with my guitarist, forget trying to hear it over a drumkit though. For my style this amp is useless I have to turn the bass up full and drop the treble low just to get a bearable tone out of it, and even then it sounds very muddy. The sound gets worse as you turn up the volume but stays fairly clean considering. My bass is also a cheap low quality instrument so it sounds twice as bad to me. :(
Durability: This thing is a brick and will last you a long time, I think Hartke designed this amp to be thrown out of windows. The only complaint I have here is that the input socket came loose and now when I play it cuts out if I pull on the lead a little bit.
