Takamine GS330S Dreadnought 6-string Acoustic Guitar - Solid Cedar Top

Overall opinion is play one because everyone likes a different sounds but many like this one. This guitar will become the one you want to pick up everytime you play. This one has become my "Lucille". Like I said I will have it and play it until I die.

Features: The features are as everyone else has explained.

Playability: This instrument is one of the best .. I would get another over some nice Martins I have played and I love Martins&Co. and own M&Co. guitars. This guitar rarely gets out of tune while playing unless you are just rippin it. I have been told by many that the guitar plays amazingly.

Sound: I am a blues and classic rock player mainly but this gem can do it all. It is a light, warm tone that I always seem to go back to. To me it is a great stage or studio guitar especially for the price. Maybe I got lucky and got an extraordinary one but I will play until I die.

Durability: Try this one ... unfortunate incident of my GS330s suffering from humidity damage. Lesson learned to always store in a case. Went out of town, air conditioner broke and flooded carpet while guitar was in it's stand. Room heated up and moisture got to it and cause the bridge to raise. After having repaired this thing still sounded unbelievable. Considering trading it once and the dealer told me that if were not for the bridge damage he would take but actually offered me money to have it himself because he thought it was one of the best sounding guitars he had ever heard and that was matching against 2 and 3 thousand dollar guitars.

Great guitar i would definately get another. There is just something about it, youd have to play it to understand. with the right set of strings this guitar sounds and plays great

Features: Japanese made satin finish blah blah blah just like everyone else says

Playability: A dream to play. The action is just right. the neck a alight bit slimmer than other guitars ive played( makes it a bit easier to play). Ive played other takamines, ibanez, martins, and fenders that dont play nearly as easy or sound as good as this.

Sound: I play just about any kind of music from old country ballads to some of the popular alternative of today and it just sounds good with any. it has a sound all of its own. not too bright not to dark but suited well for just about anything you want to play.

Durability: Owned for about two years now.I play about 30 min to 3 hours a day with this guitar. so far the only thing ive had to change is the strings. everything is still as functional as the day i first opened the case. ive also driven from texas to maryland with it(drastic temp and humidity change) and it still holds up just as well.

As far as other guitars in this price range I found nothing that came close. I also looked at the Seagulls and low end Martins and this guitar will definately hold its own wtih those other highly acclaimed guitars.

Features: This guitar was made in Japan. 20 frets. Solid top. Natural satin finish on top. Generic high quality tuners.

Playability: The action was super from the start. Very easy guitar to play. I had a Washburn acoustic before this one and the Takamine is a far superior guitar.

Sound: Sound is excellent. A full and warm sound due to the solid top. I play a lot of Clapton and Dave Matthews and this guitar works well for most any kind of music I play.

Durability: I have only had a short while but other older Taks I have seen were in excellent condition and I expect the same for m this guitar.

In some eyes this might be a "plain" model. I think it is the most elegant guitar I've seen in ages and any doubts vanish when you hear the beautiful tone. This is an outstanding guitar that well exceeds any other guitar in the price range. Compared to my epiphone and ovation this one can easily hold it's own.

Features: The GS330S is one of the "natural" line of guitars. It is a copy of the Takamine handmade guitars and it is virtually identical in sound and style. The fit and finish on the one I bought are flawless and the grain in the solid top is spectacular. The "natural" look satin finish and styling are elegant and the sound is exquisite.

Playability: The action is superb and the slightly narrower neck make playing a joy.

Sound: The sound is warm and full due to the solid top. There isn't another guitar in this price range as well as several price ranges higher that sounds this good.

Durability: I haven't had it long, but it feels solid, and has held up beautifully so far.

An extremely reliable guitar.

Playability: Very easy to use. Has standard action. I've found no flaw.

Sound: A very nice sound. Sounds unlike any other acoustic I've played in a good way.

Durability: It just does good.

Looked at every guitar in just about every guitar store around! If it were to be lost I think I would definitely buy the same kind. I would like it a little better if there were a cut out, but I don't mind, makes it more of a challenge! WARNING: NEVER wear a belt with a big belt buckel when playing an acoustic (don't ask).

Playability: Plays very well compared to other guitars

Sound: Play classic rock and classical(not so easy to play classical on acoustics!). Plays and sounds great. sound is full and warm; not to bright or dark.

Durability: Very reliable, not much adjusting needed at all (I've had mine for 3 years, still in great condition, a few dents, but great otherwise). stays a warm sound, a little bright in cold weather.
