The RØDE K2 is the result of designing and building 1000’s of valve microphones. The K2’s HF-1 capsule is the pinnacle of transducer technology. The sound quality combines modern high-end specifications with the character and subtleties of the legendary 50’s mics.

Infinitely variable control of the K2’s polar patterns provides the freedom and flexibility to excel in any recording situation. The K2 is another example of RØDE’s commitment to building quality studio microphones to meet the exacting standards demanded by today’s professionals.

The Rode K2 Variable-Pattern Tube Mic delivers richly detailed tube sound with super-low 10dBA self-noise, huge 162dBA SPL, and a mega-wide dynamic range of 150dB. Totally variable polar pattern control makes it flexible enough for just about any studio task. Coupled with Rode's high-output tube circuitry, the K2 brings out every nuance while handling the loudest sources from cranked-up stacks to screaming vocals. Includes plastic molded travel case, power supply with 30' cable, and SM2 shockmount.

The K2 is designed to operate from a dedicated power supply (110 - 120 V/220 - 240 V, 50/60 Hz)

Externally polarized 25 mm(1”) condenser.

Continuously variable multi pattern -Omni, through Cardioid to figure 8.

Valve impedence converter with bipolar output buffer.
