The Hartke VX "Very Extreme" Series bass reflex cabinets were designed for bassists who demand excellent tone but prefer traditional paper cone drivers.

These warm, punchy enclosures feature proprietary drivers with specially treated cones, impregnated fabric surrounds, matched convex dust caps all mounted in heavy steel frames. The high efficiency low moving mass design allows for maximum output and plenty of headroom throughout the full range of the driver. Rounding out the tone, each cabinet has a proprietary design horn loaded high frequency transducer.Using Heavy-duty plywood construction, the rugged carpet covered cabinet has strong protective corners, ergonomic handles and a recessed jack cup protecting its two 1/4" inputs.

The VX410 handles 400 Watts of power driving its four 10" speakers, plus its horn loaded 1" throat compression driver.

I am buying another one to complete my stack. Have gigged ALOT with it and it has withstood the test with only one small flaw (the hartke logo on the front fell off).

I play metal and punk rock sounds great for both
Use a schecter diamond series and a dean metal-man and a zoom effects pedal nothing to complain about.

Id buy it a again. It was the most popular 4x10 Bass Cab out there and I see why its good buy and I dont think I wasted a dime, I feel like they are inexpensive with great quality I would buy another one too complete my rigg. Check out my page to see the pic of the Cab and the Hartke amp.

Features: Heavy-duty plywood construction Four 10 in. proprietary drivers One horn loaded high frequency transducer Power Handling: 400 Watts @ 8 Ohms Ergonomic handles Parallel 1/4 in. Inputs Very Powerful when dialed in correctly and nice and punchy when you want it too. Had deep low end. With my amp it has great capabilities I will gig with it very soon.

Sound: No bass effects I'm a pure sound player, I play Jazz R&B with Hip Hop Licks and low end grooves. It handles it all, No distortion I run a 250 WATT amp to stay out of blowing range and it still seems as if I cant test the limits it sounds great as the Hartke Amp provides alot of options to get the best sound from this CAB.

Durability: Very strong although I have not gigged with it, it is very solid and contructed very well

I really enjoy using this Cab. Like I said, a little more Impedence and I think it'd be hard to beat for the price.

Features: I like this cab for the most part. I was sort of disappointed w/ the fact that it supposed to be "Very Extreme" was only rated at 8oHms...

Sound: Outstanding sound quality. I like the depth that is present, and it really has a great treble quality that I would expect in a higher end product...

Durability: Construction of this Cab is top-notch. The carpeting, the enclosure itself, the wiring, cones, everything is what I would expect from Hartke.

It's a very plane and cheap amp. If on budget try for a Behringer or a smaller ampeg or swr. Uh...wouldn't reccomend buying.

Features: All the basics needed for me, solid state, very plane.

Sound: Good, leaves lots to be desired in deep bass tones.

Durability: Have had not that long. Nothing mentionable.

This cabinet is very good and provides the power I was looking for. Very easy to use and sounds great!

Features: This cabinet features: Heavy-duty plywood construction, four 10" proprietary drivers, one horn loaded high frequency transducer, and two parallel 1/4" Inputs

Sound: I use a Fender Precision bass, and a Squier p-bass, and they sound very good on it. I also use a boss bass distortion pedal which doesn't sound as good as I would expect with it. I play fast rock, and punk on it and it sounds pretty good.

Durability: It is a very heavy-duty cabinet, very solid and does not seem as if it would break.
