Endless Journey

Description: Endless Journey is a flowing, melodic number in the key of E minor. Purpose: *A study in phrasing. *Practice conveying an emotion musically. *Introduces a minor key to the student's ear. Suggestions for Instruction: Discuss the definition of a phrase. Be sure the last note of each phrase drips off of the fingertips. Play several phrases on the student's forearm so they can feel what the keyboard would feel. This has proven to be a very useful tool for me to explain the art of technique to my students.
