Trout Quintet - Franz Schubert

This fantastic CD features the five movements from one of the world's greatest pieces of chamber music, Schubert's Quintet in A, Op. 114, so nicknamed because it borrows a theme from his song Die Forelle (The Trout). The movements - Allegro vivace · Andante · Scherzo · Theme and Variations (Andantino) · Finale (Allegro giusto) - are performed on disc by piano, bass, cello, viola and violin.
