I refer to it almost every day. The one bad thing is there is no cd included but if your a Metallica fan you should have the songs in the book on cd already.

This instructional book has helped me become a better player. There's no way that this book could have become than it already is. I'd just like people to know that this is definetly a way to explode peers mind. I urged you to get this!

This book by Kirk Hammett is excellent for a Metallica fan. I love how he tells a little history with each solo. Some of them are hard yet some are pretty easy and sound awesome. I highly recommend this book for any metal lover!

This is a tab book that has alot of kirks solos. learn how to play them the right way from this book, it also includes an interview, gear listing, and an intro to each song, also signature licks from some songs.very well suited to my level of metal and blues. no cd/tape included, this book could have been better by adding ride the lightning and welcome home solos, other than that, nothing. Not much more, great book to learn metallica solos, all well done.

This book helped me on my way to becoming a great guitarist. since reading this top of the line product i have learnt to play songs like ONE and FADE TO BLACK. i USED to think they would be hard to play but now i can play them without any trouble. THANKS YOU KIRK. You are the best guiatist this world has seen.And im only 14 thank you so much!!!!

Magnificent overview of Kirks work. Not only does it just teach you solos, it teaches you his lead style (scales he most commonly uses, different rythms, etc.). If you love metallica solos, your gonna like this book.

This is a Great Resource, Not only does it have tablature, but it has it in music! this isn't one of those Easy Riff books, this is the way music was meant to be written/read.

Wanna show off to people who don't know anything about guitar? Great! Then buy this book! If you want to play like Kirk Hammet, this is the book to get. It has full transcriptions of about 12 solos, and lots of random licks from others. As long as you can wiggle your fingers really fast, and know the pentatonic boxes, this book is good.
