Oliver Nelson's well-known jazz standard is now available in a more playable version for younger bands. Roger's adaptation opens with the original gospel style chorale then launches into a medium blues shuffle. A duet of Alto and Trumpet is featured on the head and the ensemble figures are as effective as on the original. Required literature for every jazz program!
