Essential Musicianship

Essential Musicianship, Book 3, recommended for Grades 10-12 or other advanced singers, is a sequential choral method that helps the returning high school singer develop intermediate to advanced skills. Concepts presented include major/minor scales, diatonic chords, intervals, chromaticism, categories of harmony, modes, simple, asymmetric and changing meters. The 52 practice/performance songs for mixed, treble and tenor bass choirs are designed to improve reading skills through expressive singing.
