The Complete Robert Johnson

Lovely book. Lovely transcriptions. I'm barely a beginner to guitar but have always loved Robert Johnson. The handful of riffs I've been able to re-create from this book made me feel like a blues guitarist (I can dream can't I!)

This book not only gives transcriptions but also a bit of the flavor of the man, Robert Johnson, King of the Delta Blues Guitar. The transcriptions include descriptions of the tuning, finger picking methods and anecdotes about the recording sessions. Robert Johnson made some 43 recordings of which 29 were unique the others were second takes. this book goes into all 43 and notes differences between the first and second takes.
