This work is dedicated to John Fletcher, who gave the first performance on 24 April 1976. The concerto is in three movements, the first in sonata-form shell with two contrasting themes. There is a reference made in the development section to the opening theme of Vaughan Williams' Tuba Concerto. Set as part of the ABRSM Tuba Syllabus.

"I must say your website is far better than any other I've encountered during my conquest for guitar picks sold on the web or at any retailer in my new town of residence. Your site was the first I've seen (of many) to have picks listed in an accessory department (the pictures were really swell) or any other I've checked, for that matter."

"I stumbled onto your web site by looking for a specific type of classical guitar string, which you carried. I ordered them yesterday and they arrived just an hour ago, about 24 hours after I placed the order! What fantastic service -- and your prices are very good. I play several string instruments and I will buy all my strings (and other supplies) from you in the future. Thanks for the great work."

"Your service is excellent and has exceeded my expectation!!! To order an electric guitar for my son who lives in a different location was hectic and I'm so glad that we decided to place an order with you versus the other big website. Thank you for your truly professional and caring staff. We definitely will bring more business to you again in the near future. Your kind concern and follow up is highly appreciated. Thank you sooooo much"
