Villagers hide all their food to avoid helping three weary foot soldiers. The hungry, but clever, soldiers coax the community members into sharing their food by suggesting ingredients to add to the stone soup they're making. When the soup is ready to eat (much improved by the villagers' contributions), they all sit down to a community supper. Grade Level: K-6. Perf. Time: Approx. 20 minutes.
