Opening with a wonderful F Horn melody (cued in Alto Saxophone), the classic overture-style piece sparkles with interesting twists and turns. There are many style, dynamic and articulation contrasts in the piece so there are plenty of things to teach and learn. Ormond Beach Overture is right on track for the Grade 2.5 band.
