The Classical Collection

The Classical Collection gives saxophonists with a few years experience the opportunity to become acquainted with the classical repertoire that was composed before the invention of the saxophone. This collection includes a variety of classical compositions from different style periods. The character of the saxophone is ideal for the classical melodies in this book. The musical interpretation plays an important role, but a number of technical skills are also addressed. On the CD, Nobuya Sugawa first plays each piece, followed by a play-along verions that has been played on a real grand piano.
