This striking suite of pieces by the contemporary Czech-American composer was inspired by birds, whose wordless poetry is expressed in flight and song. Premiered in 1995 at Carnegie Hall by the Quintet of the Americas and recently recorded by the Prague Wind Quintet. Duration ca. 19 minutes.
