The heart of the Afro-Cuban rhythm section, the Konga (kon-gah) Drum is one of the most versatile of all Percussion instruments. It is played using a variety of hand postions and techniques to achieve open (long), closed (short), and slap (accented) sounds. Traditionally, these sounds are combined to form rhythmic patterns for dance styles such as the Rumba, Mambo, and Cha-Cha.

This pretuned Conga is 15" high x 6" in diameter and its design features a colorful rain forest motif.
