The Merengue Guiro is one of the driving rhythmic forces in a Merengue band. This large stainless-steel guiro features a hollow, open-ended design with a tightly textured surface that gives a raspy sound with bright overtones. The LP Merengue Guiro has a coarser, rougher sound than most Guiros and is significantly louder. The attached metal handle makes it easy to hold in any position. An LP Wooden Merengue Scraper is included.
