Oud, Egyptian, Black. They have a faux painted body and spruce soundboards, ebony pegs. The asymmetric line adds interest. They come with a traveling black nylon case with strings and a pick. The Flat Back OUD has no frets with a floating bridge and measures 28" from the nut to the base. The peg box measures 9". It is 13.5 -14" at it's widest point and measures 4" deep, neck length nut to body is 8". Has bracing inside under soundboard and a center sound hole with decorative inlay . It is a 12 string with six wired and six nylon. Actual weight is 3 lbs.

Whether you purchase an instrument on-line or in a neighborhood store, manufacturers recommend that you change the strings on your instrument as soon as you receive it. Your instrument has completed a long journey to your home. During this time the strings WILL oxidize and this may shorten their life expectancy and may reduce their sound quality. On occasion instruments may arrive with a broken string, therefore, it is recommended that you purchase a replacement set of strings and consider changing your strings as soon as it arrives.
