3 gut strings, rosewood finerboard,bow and hard case. 24 inches long by 5 inches wide by 6 inches deep (including the bridge)- upper size of soprano. Bow is 27" long. Rosin for bow (RSNP) sold separately.

The name Rebec is derived from the Arabian Rabob. Its origin dates to the 10th century Europe. It is played resting on the shoulder like a violin, across the chest, or tucked in the armpit. The soprano rebec is tunned, low to high, D A E above midddle C.
