Crown MB-1AL Mini Boundary Microphone

At just 1.3 in. wide, the low-profile MB-1AL features a 1/4-in. stereo phone plug for quick insertion and removal from the supplied insert. The insert, featuring a paintable aluminum insert, can be permanently installed, and includes a black dust cap for use when the microphone is removed.

The Crown MB-1AL is a miniature boundary microphone for multi-miking applications such as teleconferencing, distance learning, boardrooms and courtrooms. Thanks to its half-supercardioid pickup pattern, the MB-1AL greatly reduces ambient noise and pickup of room reverberation, resulting in a clear sound.

A low-profile circular mic, the MB-1AL has a bottom mounted phone plug. Supplied with the mic is a table insert with a phone jack that accepts the mic. The insert flush-mounts in a hole drilled in the table. After meetings, the mic can be removed and the insert covered with the provided disk.

This mic is identical to the MB-1 except with paintable aluminum insert
