Crown SASS-HC Stereo Boundary Microphone System

Featuring a unique, patented design, the SASS-HC stereo PZM(Pressure Zone-) microphone represents the pinnacle of the PZM technology at Crown.

With its carefully controlled pick up patterns and accurate human-ear spacing between its capsules, the SASS-HC produces a well-focused, natural stereo image without a "hole in the middle." Ths microphone is ideal for recording classical music ensembles, pipe organ, ambience, and audience reaction in stereo. It also works beautfilly for miking a drum set overhead. The SASS-HC can be powered in the field by two 9V batteries as well as 12-48V phantom power.

The SASS-HC is identical to the SASS-P MKII, except that it omits the carrying case and accessories. It is ideal for schools, providing easy stereo recording of school bands, choirs, orchestras and soloists.
