This is an instructional book that discusses the importance of relaxation to remove barriers to creativity. It then goes on the present techniques to get to a relaxed state before approaching your instrument. This has made me a much better player int hat it has taught me to relax and love what I am playing no matter what exactly I am playing. I refer to it at least weekely, and practice the relaxation techniques daily before every practice. The book is suited to any skill level as it doesn't cover music theory or anything. All skill levels can understand relaxation and the spiritual nature of music. The book came with a CD that is fantastic to use along with Werner's relaxation techniques. Werner does a great job explaining how he came about understanding the importance of what he is writing about, and most readers will be able to relate to what he is talking about. If you ever feel uncomfortable or frustrated playing your instrument, or with yourself for any reason, this book can help you.
