The melody moves between voices and the harmonic structuring shifts with an energy all its own, skillfully exhibiting marvelous suspensions and their satisfying resolutions. Technical demands are truly minimal. While it is written for beginning band, this is one of this rare compositions that will find a deserved place in the repertoires of bands at all skill levels.
