Neal Hefti's great drum feature "Cute" arranged for your beginning jazz band! This tune has been performed by many great jazz bands from Count Basie on down, but now arranger Mike Story works his magic to score "Cute" for the easy level and it sounds great. Mike has designed this chart so all the parts are accessible to the less experienced players-even the brass ranges are fail-safe with trumpet to D and trombone to C. The drum solo is clearly written and will be the highlight of the concert. Flexible instrumentation and all the usual optional parts makes this a sure-fire winner. Outstanding!
